A quenched forged drive sprocket made from 40Mn2 steel, formed by integral forging and finished with automatic medium-frequency tooth-surface quenching to a 4-8mm wear-resistant layer. The sprocket transmits drive-wheel power to the track chain, so tooth profile accuracy and core toughness decide how the machine walks under continuous heavy load. Built for 5-80 ton crawler excavators and bulldozers working in mining, quarry and road construction conditions.

40Mn2 is forged as one piece, giving a dense metal texture and strong impact resistance, so teeth resist breaking when the track meets rock or hard debris.
Automatic medium-frequency tooth-surface quenching produces a 4-8mm hardened layer at HRC48-56, keeping the wear surface working longer between replacements.
Machined tooth geometry gives good meshing with the track link and bushing, reducing uneven load on the chain during forward, reverse and steering cycles.
Inventory covers mainstream CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sany, SDLG and Shantui machine models for fast delivery on repeat orders.
Produced under an ISO9001:2015 quality management system with full-process inspection before shipment, plus a 12-month quality warranty.

Forged sprockets are matched to these machine families:
40Mn2 is selected for its combination of hardenability and core toughness. The sprocket is integrally forged rather than assembled, so the tooth ring and hub share one continuous grain flow. After machining, the tooth surface alone is induction quenched to a 4-8mm depth, leaving the inner body ductile enough to absorb shock while the working face stays hard. The finished part is checked for dimensions, hardness and surface flaws before packing.
The forged sprocket suits open-pit mining, national road reconstruction, urban municipal earthwork and mountain stone quarry work, where machines run 24-hour cyclic operation with frequent forward and reverse walking.
ODM customization is supported, including free logo engraving and model-specific matching for machines outside the standard stock list. Share your machine brand, model and working condition and the engineering team will confirm the matching tooth count and dimensions.
In an Australian open-pit iron ore operation, 5,600 sets of full forged heavy-duty undercarriage were supplied for CAT 6060 excavators and D11T bulldozers. The program used 40Mn2 integral forging with a 6-8mm deep medium-frequency quench layer to resist quartz-bearing ore abrasion and rock impact. Over 22 months of continuous full-load running, service life was 52% longer than ordinary cast undercarriage parts from general suppliers, monthly replacement frequency dropped by more than half, and overall mine equipment maintenance cost fell by 45%. Each batch was supported by raw material spectrum testing and third-party hardness certification.
Send the machine brand, model and serial or undercarriage part number. The sprocket is then matched against the model list covering CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sany, SDLG, Shantui and XCMG machines from 5 to 80 tons.
This version is integrally forged from 40Mn2 and then tooth-quenched to 4-8mm depth, which gives a denser structure and higher impact resistance for mining and quarry duty. Cast sprockets are a separate product type for lighter, general duty.
Tooth surface hardness is HRC48-56, with a hardened layer depth of 4-8mm depending on the model and duty class.
The sprocket is rated for -30°C to 60°C, covering cold-region winter work and hot open-pit summer conditions.
Yes, a 12-month quality warranty applies, supported by full-process inspection before shipment.
Yes, ODM customization with free logo engraving is available. Confirm the artwork and the model before production.
