The 13DST is an intermediate wire drawing machine for bare copper wire. Casted Steel Frame With Precision Transmission
The casted steel main box uses NSK or NTN bearings and high precision hard gears ground on a German gear grinding machine. Two shafts, high and low, add output torque for stable running under continuous load.
Carbon Fibre Capstans and Immersion Cooling
Drawing capstans are made of carbon fibre for good abrasive resistance and longer life. The immersion cooling system in the drawing part keeps dies and copper wire cooled and lubricated, extending the life of dies and capstans.
Sealed Oil Circuit
A stainless steel double-layer sealing cover is used on the drawing oil tank. The capstan box and gear box are separated so lubrication oil and gear oil cannot mix or permeate, and multi-layer sealing is applied during design and assembly.
Pneumatic Shaft Take-Up
The take-up is pneumatic shaft type with up, down, fasten and loosen movements under pneumatic control. A fall-back prevention function works when the bobbin is fastened, and traversing width is adjusted by motor, reducing operator effort.
PLC and HMI Control
PLC plus human machine interface and an INOVANCE inverter adjust speed, and the speed can be adjusted synchronously. Automatic stop works at set length, on break and on fault.
