In environmental and chemical wastewater treatment, as well as storage of low to medium corrosive media, ordinary PE tanks lack sufficient strength and are prone to deformation, while carbon steel tanks are susceptible to corrosion and scaling, resulting in reduced storage efficiency and potential leakage. Steel-lined plastic tanks, made with a carbon steel shell using rotational molding or lining processes, feature a tightly bonded inner lining that is resistant to acids and alkalis and prevents scaling. The smooth, seamless inner surface minimizes residue and simplifies cleaning. The tank has high structural strength, capable of withstanding outdoor installation and transportation impacts, and is suitable for wastewater, chemical effluents, and acidic, alkaline, or saline solutions under low to medium corrosive conditions. Compared to PTFE tanks, it offers higher cost-effectiveness, a longer service life than ordinary anti-corrosion tanks, and provides enterprises with a high-value solution for medium storage.
