WORKING PRINCIPLES

The sound wave that Dows in the direction of the stream moves faster than the one that Dows against the stream. The transittimes Tab (Transit time of ultrasonic) waves from sensor A to measured continuously. The time difference (Tba Tab) is directlyproportional to the mean Dow velocity (Vm) of the liquid. The Dow rate is a result of the velocity multiplied by the cross sectionarea of the Dow tube size.
