kesun solar
Zhejiang Kesun New Energy Co., Ltd. was formed through the merger of Haining Ensun Solar Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Yile New Energy Co., Ltd. Both companies were originally under the same owner. Ensun had long been focused on non‑pressure solar water heaters, while Yile specialized in pressurized solar water heaters. Over time, it became clear that instead of running two separate businesses along parallel tracks, it made more sense to bring their resources, technologies, production lines, and teams together under one roof.
After the merger, the existing non‑pressure and pressurized product lines were not only retained but also significantly upgraded in terms of process and capacity. More importantly, the company added several forward‑looking product lines, including PVT (photovoltaic‑thermal) systems, 2205 duplex stainless steel tanks, and heat pipe solar collectors. These additions are not just about expanding the product portfolio—they are also a strategic step toward the future of hybrid energy systems.
To support both the existing and new product lines, the company built a new 42,000 m² standardized manufacturing facility. Production processes have been upgraded across the board: high‑pressure automatic foaming machines have replaced conventional foaming methods, robotic arms are now used in packaging, and in addition to TIG and high‑frequency welding, we have introduced laser welding and butt welding technologies. On the quality assurance side, an in‑house laboratory has been established, enabling us to conduct reliability tests such as salt spray testing and pulse testing directly on site—tests that previously had to be outsourced.
Today, Kesun supplies components to a number of Fortune 500 companies both in China and abroad. From serving individual customers to supporting major global players, and from single products to complete systems, the company is steadily transforming its accumulated experience into a more efficient and reliable manufacturing capability.
