Two-Component Water-Based Architectural Waterproof Coating
Dongshun Universal Waterproof Coating is a high-performance composite made from polyacrylate emulsion, ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer emulsion, and imported FS additives (organic liquid component), combined with inorganic powders and functional fillers (inorganic powder component). Designed for waterproofing and anti-seepage in various concrete, lightweight wall, and masonry structures, including bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, roof gutters, parapet walls, pitched tile roofs, and water tanks.

Application Guide
1. Substrate Preparation
Ensure substrates are solid, smooth, clean, and free of dust, oil, and loose particles.
Pre-wet substrates thoroughly to maintain moisture, but no standing water is allowed.
2. Mixing
Gradually pour the powder component into the liquid additive container.
Stir vigorously until a smooth, lump-free paste is achieved.
3.Application
Apply the mixture evenly with a brush to damp substrates, avoiding missed spots or pinholes.
Allow the first coat to dry completely (2–4 hours, depending on substrate density and humidity) before applying the second coat.
Stir the mixture intermittently during use to prevent sedimentation. Use within 2–4 hours after mixing.
4. Curing & Handling
Avoid foot traffic for 24 hours after application.
Wait for full curing before applying overlay materials (e.g., plaster or tile adhesive).
5. Coverage
Moisture Proofing: 0.5–0.7mm film thickness, 1–1.5kg/m² (varies by substrate smoothness).
Waterproofing: 1.2–1.4mm film thickness, 2.5–3kg/m² (varies by substrate smoothness).
6. Application Conditions
Apply at temperatures above 5°C and relative humidity below 85% for proper curing.
7. Tool Cleaning
Clean brushes/rollers immediately with water after use to prevent drying.
8. Curing Tips
Moisture Return Warning: Temporary moisture spots may appear in humid areas (e.g., basements) but will disappear after 10–15 days of curing.
Enhance curing by mist-spraying or covering with a damp cloth during days 1–3.
Storage
Store at 5–35°C in a cool, dry, clean place. Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent contamination.
Shelf life: Over 12 months when unopened and properly stored.
