The QPKY Series Hydraulic Hoist is designed for the operation of high-speed emergency plane gates in water conservancy and hydropower projects. It provides a maximum holding force of 12,500 kN, with a 5,000 kN configuration also available, and a maximum design stroke of 20 m. The unit is specified for fast emergency response, high reliability, large holding force and safe shutdown capability, which makes it suitable for hydropower station emergency protection systems.

Maximum holding force class for large plane gates and high-load emergency closure duty.
Reduced holding force class for gates with lower design load, using the same QPKY hoist platform.
Design stroke up to 20 m, with CPMS-JD stroke sensor feedback and matched control valve group and electrical control system.
The hoist is built in iron with a heavy load structure intended for continuous dam site duty. The assembly combines the hydraulic hoisting unit, cylinder and rod set, position sensing and the matched hydraulic and electrical control group. Overload protection and safe shutdown capability are part of the design, and the surface build is specified for high anti-corrosion performance in outdoor hydropower environments.
A complete set of hydraulic hoisting equipment was supplied to an EPC contractor for safe and efficient lock gate operation. Each hoist is integrated with the CPMS-JD absolute stroke sensor, providing millimeter-level positioning accuracy and strong resistance to electromagnetic interference, with a 30-year design life.
Forty hoist sets were delivered for dam gate opening and closing, flood control, water level regulation and power station safety operation. The heavy load design, high anti-corrosion performance and overload protection maintain reliable lifting under ultra-high water pressure, with a 27-year service record.
Hoists are configured per project: holding force class, design stroke up to 20 m, stroke sensor integration, and system-level supply covering the hydraulic power unit and electrical control. Project documentation is issued against the gate data provided by the buyer.
What is the maximum holding force of this hoist?
12,500 kN, with a 5,000 kN configuration available for lower load gates.
What is the maximum design stroke?
20 m maximum design stroke, matched to the gate opening depth of the project.
Can position feedback be supplied?
Yes. The CPMS-JD absolute stroke sensor provides millimeter-level positioning with strong anti-EMI performance.
