Where a different surface or application is required, RENOVA's wider matte frit range includes wall tile matte frit and velvet matte frit, and the wider frit range also covers titanium frit, transparent frit, polishing frit and wear-resistant frit. Product selection depends on the intended application and the customer's production conditions.

Materials And Structure

RFM-02 is a ceramic frit supplied in matte-frit form for glaze preparation. Its behaviour in the kiln is defined by two stated characteristics: a high initial melting point, and a low tendency to blister during firing. In practice the frit is mixed into a rustic glaze or polishing glaze formulation for floor tiles, applied to the tile body, and fired in a ceramic kiln within the 1100–1150 °C window, where it develops the fine matte effect.
