A stamped high-conductivity copper terminal that is pressed into a Φ0.85 mm PCB hole instead of being soldered, removing flux and reflow steps from the assembly process.
The ATZ605 is a press-fit terminal produced by stamping from high-conductivity copper. It is designed to be inserted into a plated through-hole of Φ0.85 mm on the PCB, creating the electrical and mechanical connection without solder paste, flux or a reflow cycle. The terminal measures 21.85 mm in total length, with a 6.5 mm contact length, 0.5 mm contact width and 0.4 mm material thickness. The contact surface is plated with a nickel underlayer of 40-88 μ" and matte tin of 60-120 μ". Rated current is 2 A and the operating temperature range is -40°C to +105°C. Terminals are supplied on reel.
Solderless press-fit connection
The terminal is pressed into the PCB hole, so the soldering step is removed from the assembly sequence.
Low contact resistance
The contact surface uses matte tin 60-120 μ" over a nickel underlayer of 40-88 μ".
No soldering defects
Because no solder joint is formed, defects linked to soldering are avoided.
Flux-free assembly
No flux is used, so there is no flux residue to clean off the board.
Easy installation and maintenance
Terminals can be placed and serviced without desoldering operations.
Reusable and cost-efficient
Pressed terminals can be removed and re-used instead of being scrapped with a solder joint.

ATZ605 is the press-fit terminal model documented on this page, supplied on reel. Where a board design calls for a different terminal geometry, plating system or packaging format, Greenconn supports custom connector solutions. Send your drawing, PCB hole specification and application requirements to the engineering team for review.
The terminal body is stamped from high-conductivity copper in a 0.4 mm material thickness, forming a contact section 6.5 mm long and 0.5 mm wide that seats in the Φ0.85 mm plated hole. The total length of 21.85 mm positions the terminal within the assembly. The contact surface is plated with a 40-88 μ" nickel underlayer followed by 60-120 μ" matte tin. Terminals are packed on reel.

What PCB hole size does the ATZ605 require?
The terminal is specified for a PCB hole diameter of Φ0.85 mm.
Does the ATZ605 need to be soldered?
No. It is a press-fit terminal, so the connection is made by pressing the terminal into the plated hole without solder or flux.
What are the current rating and operating temperature?
The rated current is 2 A and the operating temperature range is -40°C to +105°C.
What plating is used on the contact surface?
A bottom nickel layer of 40-88 μ" with matte tin of 60-120 μ" on top.
How are the terminals supplied for production?
They are supplied on reel, the format normally used with automated insertion equipment.
Can a pressed terminal be removed and replaced?
Yes. Press-fit terminals are reusable and can be serviced without desoldering, which supports maintenance and rework.
Which quality systems cover this product?
Greenconn holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, IATF 16949:2016 for the design and manufacture of hardware stamping parts, and ISO 13485:2016 for the design and production of electronic connectors.
Can a different terminal configuration be developed?
ATZ605 is the documented model. Other configurations are handled through Greenconn's custom connector solutions; share your drawing and requirements with the sales team.
